HomerJaySimpson Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 Well i wanna get a new soundcard, cause i don't like my hercules fortissimo....I have 5.1 Creative 5500 speakers and i was reading that the best connection for them was optical. Im currently using optical, but i wan't a Creative soundcard or something else of high quality. Apparently the coaxial output sounds like poo on those speakers...So does anyone know of any good soundcards which support optical? gravy Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 i would be skeptical of the coax sounding bad vs. optical, at least on my home theater you cant tell the difference, but alot of people i have spoken to say the coax is actually better...?
