lilkev715 Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 (edited) Those X-connect PSU's are made by Powmax, nuff said. I am sure plenty of other members here will disagree with my viewpoint that the X-connect is a bad PSU. Edit: fix your links lol Edited November 25, 2004 by lilkev715

anthony Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 The rails are good, but the design sucks the psu part looks good, the moduar idea sucks. well its a good idea, but you will end up using all the cables anyways the plasic sheilding makes it very very (awkward) the molex;s are a bit to big, get in the way

wamason Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 I've had an X-Connect 500watt for a few months now and it seems to be working great. I run two DVD Burners, four hard drives, lotsa fans, and an overclocked 2600 off it and have had no problems. Actually, when a load is put on it, the rail voltage increases just a bit. Which is good IMO. I know everyone has had different experiences with them, but I'd recommend them !
p8baller07 Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Yeah i ordered one, and who said Powmax builds them? Mod-Right does. Even if they Powmax owns them, guess what that doesnt mean its made by powmax, just a company they own
