kobalt Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 (edited) Let's say no one is satisfied of their stuff and everyone wants more, by the time everyone posts their stuff someone else is going to top it off and so on.... So in a few words, we all have pretty decent stuff and next year we'll all laugh at it And you're right bigred does have a LOT of nice stuff Edited November 25, 2004 by kobalt
GregP24 Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I'm already considering moving on to an Athlon 4000+ or FX-55. I've only had my 3200+ for 3 weeks! Nothing is ever good enough me............always have to be just a little faster. I'm even thinking about an nForce4 board with 2 6800UE's in SLI. I've got the cash, so why not? Hyper Threaded Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 Several people on here have nicer computers. I'm still using my P4 3.0C with 1gb of PC3200 and the 9800 PRO AIW. Only thing I want to change right now is the case, need one that runs much cooler and doesn't take up as much room. Next would be the video card, X800XT PE, here I come. I want to get a sound card that doesn't have the drive bay in it, too.
HomerJaySimpson Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 I like my rig but it's not fast enough. Im building another rig next year, and it'll be a 64...Im gonna wait though until amd support DDR2 and until ATI are using SLI... ThunderChicken Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 well i think everyone has there own machine and pretty much everyone on here has a l337 machine lol there all pretty much better than any brand name pc like ibm dell hp and stuff like that
TheSternMystic Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Brand name means diddly squat. A P4 is a Pentium 4, a X800 is an X800. I'll tell ya, Dell can have a system that'll PWN anyone's computer on this site, EXCEPT!!!! They'd charge $50,000 for it...
hardnrg Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 yeah, if memory serves me right, there's a young lady here on OCC with a Dell that does actually own most of everyone else's systems...... at stock!!!! it's Trixie
