kanbeki Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Adapaters? for what DVI-VGA?
gravy Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 that's a PCI-E 6600GT, like radeon said, the part you asked about is where the SLI bridge connects if you had two of these set up on an SLI capable motherboard, all 6600GT's made to date have two DVI connections, but they should all come with two DVI to CRT adaptors, i know the XFX(that one) model does

PineBark Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 hmmm, 2x 6600GT in SLI... could be interesting... Unless you're rich, the little performance gain isn't worth it.
Ziggy54354 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 its not a little performance gain. Its like 50%. but thats still not really worth it considering a 6800GT will outperform both of them. The best use of sli using the 6600GT would be if you dont have enough money to buy a 6800GT right now but still want decent performance and get the 6600GT, then somewhere down the line you get another one to increase performance. It would be pointless to get them both at the same time.
gravy Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 actually, two 6600GT's in SLI outperform one 6800 Ultra in HL2 and many other apps, and considering you can get a 6600GT PCI-E card for about $185, i'd say it's a good deal, two 6600GT's for less than one 6800 Ultra and more performance proof
TimeMachine Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 OO i c its for SLI btw its agp
BloodySunday Posted November 25, 2004 Posted November 25, 2004 OO i c its for SLI btw its agp If it was the AGP version it wouldn't have that and the heatsink would be crooked. That pick is of a PCI-E one.
