correct me if i'm wrong, there's no way u can run sli on that board. only certain chipsets (the new via) and nforce 4 sli (not yet released) support it. he's just plugging in 2 pci-e cards and the bridge pcb, and calling it sli.

charging a huge amount of something is one thing, people can choose to pay for it or not, but outrigh fraud is different.

lol what is the dang guy thinking. even if someone goes with the lowest bid possible its like a $4000 profit. ok so i went and did a little HW and found an approximate price for all that stuff. if he is asking for $15,000 you could get three of those machines, lol. And yes Sli has been developed for work-stations before it was availiable for desktops. they just had'nt developed the chipsets for the desktop ones yet.

I think that's a little exagerated, that setup is still worth about $2,500

Ignoring shipping costs and the fact that these may not be the best prices:

SuperMicro X6DAE-G2 456.63

Xeon 3.4 GHz EMT64 - Retail x 2 1,398.00

512 MB DDR2 400 x 4 703.96

Nvidia 6800 Ultra x 2 1,038.00

SeaGate Barracuda 160GB w/ NCQ x 2 210.00

Sony 52x32x52 CD-RW Drive 47.99

Sony 16X DVD+/-RW / Double Layer Drive 64.88

CoolerMaster Stacker 155.00

TOTAL $4,074.46 USD

Edit:

Soundman beat me to it and I forgot a power supply :O
