sykocus Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 correct me if i'm wrong, there's no way u can run sli on that board. only certain chipsets (the new via) and nforce 4 sli (not yet released) support it. he's just plugging in 2 pci-e cards and the bridge pcb, and calling it sli. Â charging a huge amount of something is one thing, people can choose to pay for it or not, but outrigh fraud is different.
General Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 actully i think SLI has already been developed for workstations. which is what this seems to be. Â I think alienware had SLI in an intel setup
red930 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 lol what is the dang guy thinking. even if someone goes with the lowest bid possible its like a $4000 profit. ok so i went and did a little HW and found an approximate price for all that stuff. if he is asking for $15,000 you could get three of those machines, lol. And yes Sli has been developed for work-stations before it was availiable for desktops. they just had'nt developed the chipsets for the desktop ones yet.
