Opinions On A Gpu Cooler

I think on all the newer cards (6800/x800) those vga silencers take the cards from 70C-80C stock cooling to around 40C, generally (with silence too!). Not sure if that's right, I just seem to remember reading that somewhere on a few occasions. I expect if that's the case you will be able to get a decent overclock out of it too. Oh, and silence is good :)

i would go with the silencer....i have this zalman, its a zalman ZM80C-HP and its a passive heatpipe cooler (there is an optional fan but you have to buy it seperatly....i never bought it) i like it pretty well but im thinking of selling it for a vga silencer.

heres a pic of the zalman on my 9800pro
