Stuck At 226 Fsb

Recommended Posts

Ok here is the setup

Asus P4C800E deluxe

P4 3.2 Northwood

FSB @ 226 getting 3.6 with that

I know the 3.2's dont OC very well but I was hoping to get a little more. I can change the memory timings....I just dont know which way to go. Do I want to lower the numbers i.e. 2-2-2-6 or raise them 2.5-4-4-8 ???? Oh I bumped the V to 1.65

Loosen them to the max, then OC to the max, then tighten them as much as possible after OCing.

When you say "loosen" I assume you mean to raise the number i.e. from 2.5-2-2-8 to 3-4-4-8 or something like that right, sorry but this whole loosen-tighten verbage is throwing me off.

Loosen= higher numbers

tighten= lower numbers

Correct?
