Ghost2520 Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 A kid who brought his computer to the LAN has a problem... apparently they tried swapping and AMD 1100+ processor with a 2200, I suppose the motherboard doesn't support the new one because now all the computer does is make a long steady beep when you power it on, then it shuts off. No post, nothing. I tried taking the BIOS battery out. All they said they did was swap processor... even with the old processor back in, it still won't post. Any ideas?
