Refurbished Video Card?

Recommended Posts

I wanted this 9800Pro from newegg for around $200...but I need it urgently before friday Nov 12th , and now it's out of stock on newegg.com...

So I began looking for alternatives...and came up with some refurbs, I was wondering what exactly does refurbished mean? is there anything wrong with these cards? What exaclty comes with the card? ... anyone had experience with refurb video cards.

This was the one I was looking for originally...

PowerColor ATI Radeon 9800PRO, 128MB DDR, 256-bit.

usually if they are "factory refurbished" they carry some sort of warrenty but usually its "shortened" like for instance - instead of say a year , mabee only 90 days or something

ive seen some of those "factory refurbished" jobs and sometimes things are bent or put on upside down - its hard to say really but at any rate your taking a chance
