the11ama Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Nice, I think that almost beats FanATIc205's best. Overall, very impressive scores.
Nuclear Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Very good. Too bad those GeForce 6 cards hate 3DMark2001, as your score would be much higher. They run very well in 3DMark2003 though. Good Scores, keep up the good work.

red930 Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 idk you could get a water cooling kit for the price difference and overclock you GPU to beyond Ultra speeds and waste an x800xt in almost every benchmark. like 475 mhz or more. Nuclear Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 If it were me, I would go for the X800XT. That's a really good deal, considering the X800XT are selling for around $600 in non PCI-E form. As to answer the question about benches... 3DMark2001: Your score will increase dramtically by switching to a X800XT. I would say that you could expect stock scores of around 25K with your system. OC'ed you could hit 27-28K pretty easily. 3DMark2003: Your score probaly won't increase by much. You'll need very high card clocks to get high scores. The X800XT could allow you to get around 14K with a good OC. 3DMark2005: See above ^^. I would expect scores slightly over 6K with no problems. Now...Alot of guys say go with the 6800 cards, because they out bench the X800XT in DOOM3. If anyone has checked recent benchmarks with X800XT cards they'll see that the X800XT now performs right on par in DOOM3, and out-performs it in any other test. ATis newest drivers did wonders for these cards, so I've answered that in my own way.

red930 Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 the only reason i say go with a 6800 GT is becasue of $$$$$ mula. why pay $150 more for a card when you can have the same results for less with minimal work. it just makes sense unless you have $5000 to throw around. and if you get a pci-express 6800GT you can SLI it later if you get the Nforce 4 board. anouther upgrade option besides having to buy a newer card on the market, saving more money. GmAz Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 i just say save money too. I mean, both cards are such power houses, games can barely keep up if that. I mean, doom 3 takes advantage of teh cards, but its the only game. And I ran the game beautifully with my 9800 pro. anywho, i like my gt. Check my OC on it with water. Its in my sig!! Stock times are 350core and 1ghz ram. Also, does everyone here that posts to futuremarks website with their results auctually have the full legal bought version? if so, i should consider buying it. i guess its not that expensive. Vampire Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I pretty much agree with keeping your current card, sure you would probably see an increase getting an X800XT, but the increase wont be worth the money IMO. Maybe save for the next gen cards.
