Neo Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 I have always liked this case and I am sure it would be a good home for your new components
kendellrt Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Whatever you do, make sure that you get a PSU with the new PCI-Ex connector, and the 24 pin mobo connector. Otherwise you may run into problems. There are adapters, but every review I have read says that they still had problems. BabyBalrog Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 I would recomend the OCZ 520, is has native 24 pin mobo power and is very stable, the only problim is that 520 may not be enof for a SLI 6800 Ultra, if OCZ releases a 600 that would be nice but otherwise I would look really hard for a big stable PSU, For a 55, nForce3 6800 Ultra the OCZ 520 is perfect, stable and extra for OC ing

kendellrt Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 Would you happen to have an example? AnandTech has reported about it in various articles reviewing P4 boards with PCI-Ex. I have not looked very hard for a PSU that has these connectors, but I haven't had the need either. You may want to just do a search on AnandTech or Tom's HW to find an example in one of their artciles. I would, but I am using the internet at my local library right now and am time restricted.
