I just wanted to know what you are using to play dvd's in your PC, i had a good one but i never really looked at it and i had a little trouble with viruses and it's gone so when i pop a dvd in my pc nothing happends.

What are you guys suggesting as a good dvd player that dosn't take charge of everything in your machine?

I dont want something that i will see poping in when i want to listen to music (i use winamp for that)

Oh yeah i forgot, it has to be free :D

Thnx ;)

dude! watch out for that program....its rubbish. apparently full of corrupt stuff....not that i know....(my student fellows tell me, loll)

power dvd hasn't caused a prob to date! anyone recommend any software that will support a true 6.1 setup in dvd play back? or even, true 5.1? PDVD seems to want to use some software mix or something.

Well i watched an entire movie on it and it went well all the way

EDIT: oh! you probably mean kazaa, loll i know that, i only go there with an updated AVG. I think the RIAA plants viruses in there themselves or corrupted files or fued up music files just to get peeps off of it, they know the rest of the peoples there are hard cores and they cant do anything about them so they try to bug them loll
