ken has a truck that uses 9L of fuel on each trip he takes to prestonvillie, If the distance he travels is 126km, determine his vehicle's rate of fuel consumption in litres/100km. express your answer correct to one decimal place where necessary.

(my brain is on mental block, and i have to cold :withstupid: )

if he goes 100km he will use 7.14 litres. You get the 7.14 from croos multiplying 9/126 with x/100, then you get 126x = 900, then to get x you do 126x/126= 900/126, and you get x = 7.14 therefore, his rate of consumption for Litres/100km would be 7.14/100
