reported it to paypal, and checked the source for the linked page, got this

"name=standalone> <INPUT type=hidden name=INTERNAL_REDIRECT> <INPUT type=hidden

[email protected] name=login_email> "

i figured it might be fake, but reported it to aol anyway.

I hope no one is stupid enough to fall for it.

I was just going over the code, and didn't notice anything really odd. But then when I went to the actual page that they ripped, I found that they had recoded the whole page to hide the redirection. Also noticed that, of course, the "Signed by Verisign Trust Network" lock logo at the bottom panel of the browser wasn't there: that's the biggest giveaway that the scam page isn't right.

I got an ebay scam email a couple of weeks ago, basically stating there was fraudulent activity on my account and asked for verification....seeing as 1) my ebay account is registered to a different email address than the one the email was sent to, and 2) the link was to an I.P. address, I quickly went over to ebay and filled out a spam fraud-report.
