So I just set up this computer for somebody and it runs on Windows 98. The computer was basically a donation from somebody. So everytime the computer boots up you get that screen where you have to put in a username and password. I know you can just hit "cancel" and bypass it, but since its their computer now I would like to take that off, but I don't know how... Does anybody here know how to?

All that that is for is network passwords, I think if you go under network options under control panel and make sure file and printer sharing are disabled. This should disable it. Its been a while since I've played around with Win98.
