Freeder Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I have a ATI 9800 Pro and was wondering if there would be an improvement if I update the card's bios like that of a motherboards bios? Or would just updating the Catalyst (Omega ofcourse) drivers enough?
cchalogamer Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 unless u change it over to a dif bois like a 9800XT's or something like that for a performance gain or unless its givign compatability issues then no i dont suppose u need to update it. assumign you found a different bios that WORKED and didnt screw it up i dont think you would see any real gain from it. S][R_KILL@LOT Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 (edited) You could also try DNA drivers. If you ask me they are better than omega and give you more options.
