getit29 Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 I'm using the Asus A7V8X in my rig with the Swiftec Mcx 462 HS and have no trouble with the socket lever opening or closing it with the Mobo standoff in place. I have the loaded SATA board with all of the features and the SATA connectors plug in just like the standard IDE connectors do from the top.The only one that plugs in on the side is the extra ATA133 connector if you wish to use it for adding extra drives or for a raid setup. I'm very happy with my board it is really stable and I have had no trouble with it so far.
Bosco Posted October 16, 2002 Posted October 16, 2002 Glad you love the board, I love mine too! I have replaced my Abit KX7-333R with it, and I love it. Maybe the nuts that screw on my bolts are a little too big? hrmf... I need to find a work around for my problem.
