robAP Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 (edited) well ive read that load temps should be lowered for the higher overclock.... (as just a non-exact example) 2.4g=55c 2.5g=50c 2.6g=less than the previous so what temps should i stay under if i need to do 1.92v core? im going from 1.775 to 1.85 to get to 2.58 and be stable (my load at 1.775 is 45c) and to go to 2.625 ill need another jump most likely up to 1.925v to be stable. im most likely not going to get to it. i think ill probably hit 2600 even as an absolute maximum with these trends im seeing. keep in mind whatever i set on the bios, MBM5 reads as .025v lower. so ive got 1.775 set now but mbm5 says im running 1.74 to 1.75. so will it live at 1.9 on air? is 50c an acceptable load on that much voltage or is it too hot at that point? input please. Coolzero101 Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 First what kinda mobile is it? And I think the highest you will want to go is 1.

DECwakeboarder Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 You can run them at about 1.9V fine, but make sure your cooler is up to the job, jumping mine from 1.65 to 1.8 rose my temps about 7 degrees C
Coolzero101 Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Maybe because its a mobile chip, but a regular chip doesn't have that much redundancy. Regardless of the temps a regular chip would only last several months on that kind of voltage. That is why most people don't go that high. But I guess mobiles can handle it.
