DECwakeboarder Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Yea, there are more sites that are like that, I hate M$ even more now because to use their sites to download anything I have to use IE
Mr_Yuck Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 oh there's a simple solution to that... Different car companies jk...heh, that's bad... I must admit that my school website has that too, but I was too lazy to fix it when i was in web design class last year....that would mean taking a page that has a gazillion links in it and changing it (faculty page...) Ok the front page too, but the feature was so cool and there before i got there so...yeah....and the front page's problem could easily be bypassed using the flash site... Silverfox Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 woot! respect for the Brits! lol but i must agree - there are a few sites that Firefox doesn't like, however, every time i have come across one of these, Firefox has been configurable or a plugin has become available. The only issues i really get are occasional download problems, ie, it freezes and wont carry on....but...M$ ie does download it....bizarre.... bigears Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 i think that IE's developers have had years more to "Perfect" their program, where as firefox is still teething.. it will all get sorted out in the end
