Flagg7771234 Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 I got an abit ic7-g, twinx4000pro (nothing eles) and a 3.4c I can only push 200 to 210, if I move to 211 the system does not boot. I have not messed with OCing my ram or bringing the vcore up. any suggestions? I would like to push it to 4, it is at 3.5 stable. The only time I have ever heard of anyone breaking the 6ghz barrier was with LN2. BTW Flagg try upping your vcore a little even though you shouldn't ahve to up the vcore yet with only a 1ghz OC. What are you settings? ram divider, timings, etc....?
Newport Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Is that a 775 socket chip? If it is, than dont expect much more than a 5% overclock... They have that lock on them so that you cant o/c much more than 210 Mhz... Only way you are gonna go past 210 is with watercooling or LN2 hehe.
