Dasterdly Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 You can also splice the speaker wire together to get the same effect.

Silverfox Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 i do this using a 3.5mm splitter on my sound outputs. i have a 2.1 set and a 6.1 set.......giving me 8.2.....lol the front channel has 4 speakers while the rest of the 4 satellites are place accordingly - 1 front centre, 1 rear centre, 1 rear left and one rear right. the 3.5mm splitter was 49p from my lcoal electrical shop ie, 65 cents or so from an american shop. this enables you to use both subs too.... ....in my uni room, it can get VERY loud and people dig the surround sound! suchuwato Posted October 2, 2004 Posted October 2, 2004 i hooked my 5.1 set and my massive hi-fi speakers up together and it sounded good. next project is 2x800w speakers and a 1500w amp
ill_industries Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 aslong as the speaker sets are self powered, go to radioshack and pickup3 phono Y splitter cables... the rest is self explanatory
