flipkel Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 HEY all Has anyone ever had any problems trying to fit a 6800gt into an Abit NF7s. I thought I read somewhere about some issues with that. I plan on getting one this week. I want to be able to use both IDE slots also. If anyone has this same setup could you please let me know wich brand fits good. RVE Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I have an NF7 (no S, jsut NF7) but it's the exact same layout, just the Sata and Raid abilities are left out. THe 6800GT goes right up next to the 2nd IDE channel but I have the ribbon go straight up to my DVD and CD/RW drives. It's a tight fit but it'll defintely work. P.S. OweO2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 any 6800gts based on the reference design should fit, the gainward and leadtek ones may not but they are more expensive than normal 6800gts so kinda pointless. what about a dfi lanparty or infinity if your are really worried about space.
