fungus Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 i'am willing to add another HD and i want to know if i should get a heavier PSU for the moment i have following harware in my case : PSU : standard 300W mobo (abit kd7a) cpu (amd 2000+) ram (2*256) cooling (1*120mm + 4*80mm + 1*40) HD (1*80maxtor) vga (ati 9600SE) *has NO cooler on it* i think thats everything i have to mention... i know this will probably look liek a stupid question to you guys but i'am realy new in PSU's. i know my pc will shutdown if my PSU isnt strong enough but i prefer to have enough voltage(or whatever) in reserve. and pls dont tell me to buy a new one if it's not nesecery for i'am just one poor student

Nemo Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 http://www.challenge-my.com/goopsulator/ l33t goopsulaotr Nice post lego- that's looks like a better calculator than the one I've been referring people to. Why don't you add that to the PSU FAQ pinned thread?
