Coolzero101 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 (edited) Suprisingly enough i snooped around google and OCC for half an hour and found no difinate answers. I know increased AGP speed corrups data on hard-drives, but exactly how high can I go with no physical danger to my computer using no agp lock? I have an asus K8V-V im doing this on. Eva_Unit_0 Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Ideally, it should just be kept at 67 (since the actual value is 66.6666...). There is no benefit at all to running it higher than normal, and it just puts stress on your other components. But to answer your question, it mostly depends on your video card. ATI cards tend to crap out once the agp hits about 70mhz, while nvidia cards are usually good until 76mhz or so.
