Darken_Sun Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I've narrowed my options down to: 1gb OCZ Performance series PC3200 + 512mb Corsair CMX512-4000PT or 1gb (512*2) Corsair CMX512-4000PT. I really got discouraged today from PC3200 ram because I was at my friend's and he couldnt OC past 215 because of his RAM(PC3200, 512mb*2). I'm also going for high clock speeds, so I'm leaning more towards the two Corsair modules. But which would I get better performance out of (for games like Doom3, Far Cry, UT2004, etc)? TimeMachine Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Why dont you jus match the corsair intead of doin 1GB of OCZ and The Corsair, dont make sense, make them all the same its much easier to communicate and runs better. Darken_Sun Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Thats what I was thinking, but 1.5gb @ PC3200 or 1gb @ PC4000 was kinda hard for me to decide on, since I only have 2 DIMMs

And most likely better timings.
