How To Change Drum Brakes?

You should find someone locally to help, brakes are pretty important. You need to know what to look for once inside, cracked, grooved or warped drums, weeping wheel cylinder, worn wheel bearings, springs that are rusty or tired. This isn't rocket science, but a little experience can keep you out of trouble and save you having to do it again in 3 weeks.

First get a Haynes or Chilton's manual.

Next carefully read that section on your brakes.

The most valueable piece of information I can offer is to do them one side at a time. There are so manu springs and pieces that need to be just right you will want to have an example to refer back to. ;)

Good luck!!!!
