Hyper Threaded Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 You're not going to see much if any performance difference with the MAX3, it's essentially the same board as the IC7-G with a few little bits added on. The IC7-G is an awesome board, be happy with it. If you're worried that OTES cools the MOSFETS better, you can get some little chip-sinks for them. Nemo Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 (edited) ExcaliberPC is showing it in stock for $155. I've never heard of these places so I can't recommend them, but they all show the board - might want to give a couple of them a call to see if they are actually in stock: (some of these sites look suspiciously similar...) d-compute Top Edition Lead Computer PCPRooDirect CPU4U AVADirect MGEPCOnline OutsideLoop.com Sunwill Computer E_Net Marketing TopMicroUSA MICOMP Solutions Ok- I'm tired of this now Edit: I just noticed the ExcaliburPC mobo is an open box unit Edited September 28, 2004 by Nemo
Hyper Threaded Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 (edited) I bought my MAX3 from soltek-usa.com, don't know about their packaging quality or anything because I don't have the board yet. My total after 5-7 day UPS Ground was like $187. Edited September 28, 2004 by Hyper Threaded
