R360 Core

im going to start overclocking my 9800 pro today and when i went to change to the vga silencer and i noticed that it had the r360 core whats the difference between the r360 and r350? and when i start overclocking it should i raise the bus speed or memory speed first?

The R360 core is known to overclock better than the 350. The 360 is the same core that is in the 9800 XT. As far as overclocking, you can raise both the core speed and the mem speed at the same time, doesn't matter really. Just don't go too far too fast, and test for artifacts after every step.

SeV, I'd check the type of RAM chips you have on the card first, if you they are labeled Samsung then I would DEFINITELY try going for the softmod to the 9800XT... If you got stuck with hynix mem (like me <_< ) then just try pushing an OC with the BIOS it came with...
