Duke Atreides Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Z 640 here too. Very nice and I caught them in a goof up price with a sale at the same time ($36) The new audio drivers for the Nforce 2 boards helped a lot with the spatial sounds too. Hyper Threaded Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 100 USD wont get you very far, maybe a 2.1 or 4.1, 7.1 is not enough add aliltte more and get these plenty of power I have those exact speakers. They are absolutely kickass for listening to music, tons of deep, thundering bass, they're great for games too. If you're in a dorm or small appartment, they might annoy your neighbours. Dasterdly Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 (edited) Z-640's. Enough power, 5.1, cheap. A best buy. Those x-620's look amazing though. Edited September 26, 2004 by Dasterdly
Split423 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 i have the z640 and it is amazing. they definitely seem to annoy some people in the dorm. the x620 system will probably be better though since it's 6.1.
