shmitty Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 k i was wondering how you would rate using geil 512mb PC4000 platinum with a amd 64 2800 system, i heard they are preferred with intels mainly, and i havent seen that much of a difference from my last ram which was just kingston value ram 512 PC 3200 and i think that was working better. So is it really even good to keep it.
Bionix Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 i thought amd systems didnt take advantage of ram over pc3200... but i could be mistaken.
Eva_Unit_0 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 depends on how high you get the fsb. I can run over 250fsb with my setup, so I could max out even some pc4000.
