I would just go out and get a new video card with 2 dvi out but I just got a new card about 3 months ago and just dropped over $700 on the lcd so I

the reason for the 2nd video card is so i can use the other dvi connection for the second lcd. dvi and vga running next to each other just don't look right. the dvi is crylsat clear and the vga just does not have the same sharpness. i have switched the lcd around to make sure it was not the lcd panel.

I have a fire-gl x1 with dual DVI. But in your case a second dvi would work with the 5200 PCI version. I ran my TI-4200 and a GF-2 MX PCI togeather, the only problem I had was when I tried to mix ATI and Nvidia cards. but I know for a fact I got a AGP and PCI card to work, I think Bishop did the same thing.

the only reason i'm looking for a 2nd card and not just a new one with 2 dvi heads, is i just bought a 5900 about 3 months ago and really don't have $200 to buy a new card.

plus getting that 5700 would be some what of a cut back from the performace of the 5900. i know that it would not be great but it would be a downgrade
