airman Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 probably not without ruining it. you can try to roll the physical cable up, and then make the plastic connector parallel with the wires...and maybe slip the sleeve over it. JerrDogg77 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 try putting zip ties on the ide(after rolling or folding it, then sleeve it. you may have to remove the connector though
GuJuMaN89 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 ive had my cables round for like 2 months now, just wrapped it in electrical tape lol. but do u think the 1/4 inch will fit over the connector?
henbenley Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 to get the sleeving over the connector you will probable want to fold the connector parrallel with the wires and it should work fine, but I've never tried it before. computergee Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Look under guides, Roadkill made a guide about sleeving IDE cables Heres the link. I think he used 1/4" sleeving too.
henbenley Posted September 24, 2004 Posted September 24, 2004 yea roadkill said the same thing that i did about turning the connector sideways to get the sleeving on in his guide and apparently it worked great for him
