vyroburn Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 I think if you are serious about gaming that you would perfer a wired mouse, More acurate, no lag no interferance, doesnt weight as much , i mean thing about all the IR equip and not to mention the 2 AA batterys in your mouse it bogs it down, THis is a true story, i use to use a logictech cordless mouse for about 2 years This was during my hay-day as a UT2K3 Clanner, When i switched over to a cord mouse that was lighter I had prob a 20 to 30 percent increase in FPH, consistantly better all around. And that was with a logitech coarded mouse, with the razer it is prob more towards 50% increase in accuracy and consistancy. Personally i will never use another wireless object becuase bar-none a wired preperial is always going to respond better. GTSticky Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 The logitech MX 1000 is widely regarded as the best and multiple reviews state that there is zero lag... and the laser technology is much better than LED or ball technology. Â For me, the MX510 is good enough for now, but my next mice will all be MX1000's.. 1000 DPI (Razer) don't mean jack when your light source is an LED. 800DPI with a laser behind it is far superior. urvaius Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 I have been using the mx1000 I think it is great. I have switched back and forth to my corded mouse and can't see a difference in any lag.
