Guest PostalBoy Posted January 14, 2002 Posted January 14, 2002 Ok, so the greatest and latest thing from creative, the SoundDrive, or LiveDrive... This nifty device uses an old IDE cable to connect to the sound card. The cable is keyed by two missing pins (the 6th pins in). IDE cables now are usually keyed with a single blocked pin in the center. I have not yet seen a round IDE cable. If someone could confirm for me that the round IDE cables do infact have a keyed (blocked) pin that would be great. I'm really dont want to make a round cable from the ribbon that I have.
