Hades25 Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 thank you andrusk think i'll pick this one up over the base model as for the mini jack surround....how does that work ?
andrusk Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 i havent used one myself but I think you just plug each speaker into a minijack port. Youve got 1 left, 1 right, 1 "surround" right, 1 "surround" left, and one subwoofer channel. I use the spdif to connect it to my home theatre system. But I know you can use those ports for surround sound. Its for the computer surround sound systems, like logitech and stuff. Dasterdly Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 I have z640's, and they have 3 plugs. One is left/right channel, center/sub, rear left right. The yellow is SPDIF, as stated before. They have those other audio channel ports there so you don't have to disable mic, and inout for surround sound. Nice feature.
