okay lets say you were driving down the street and saw a perfectly good looking dell or emaching (etc..) sitting next to a trash can, would you stop and pick it up?

ya...im the type that would pick up an old macintosh classic just so i can smash it, if it were a pc, i would probably use it or sell it. ;)

in a drunken tirade once up at school, we walked by a house on the way to a party and there was a monitor on the curb. I kicked it....it hurt....so i picked it up and yelled "Tim, Catch" and chucked it at my friend...he jumped to the side and it went crashing in the middle of the street shattering into a hundred pieces. Everyone on the block started cheering. lol.

but uh, yeah...if it seemed like it was a decent computer, i'd take it. You can take anything if they put it on the street to throw out.

- if ya find a puter - grab it !!! its like a pinata of parts :)

I was at the dump and picked up a 66MHz Packard Bell... what do you think I'd do?

Ofcourse I would, that is another folding machine!!!

that is exactly what i thought when i saw this post. however it would depend on the speed of the computer. but i wouldn't worry about that at first. i would be happy enough just to find a computer on the curb. so i guess of course i would take it.
