markiemrboo Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Featuring... a little bit of my dogs white hair, he's trying to goto sleep infront of my computer Looks a mess now don't it? If anyone's in the UK the tubing I am using inside there I got from www.watercoolingshop.com it's their own brand stuff that's like a little more than a quid cheaper than Clearflex, per metre, and exactly like it! I think the only difference is this stuff it doesn't have dtekcustoms.com written on it I recommend it. I have some blue uv dye I could use but I dunno, I heard that stains tubing pretty bad EDIT: what kind of fool forgets to attach the dang picture! OOPS EDIT2: where do I find a bit of rubber, rubber gromet or something? I heard someone replaced the plastic bit at the end of a hydor impeller (which is what's causing my pumps rattling) with a cut out bit of rubber and the problem went away, so I was gonna have a go at that.. since I need to take it all apart yet again because I got the reservoir barbs mixed up, need to swap them around; by the time I noticed I already had it full of water

markiemrboo Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 Oh and I don't seem to have that problem with the bayres this time around, no idea why! Near happy, need to sort out clicking noise and think about putting the dye in, it's just a pain in the backside if it's gonna stain my tubing! Don't really know why I posted yet another picture, I don't have much funky stuff to show off

General Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 what did u put in the water to keep your tubes from getting dirty? or did u just use distilled water?
markiemrboo Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 lol I know I need to upgrade my poor GF2 Well if you didn't see the other thread my block was leaking and I actually ripped out the whole water cooling thing, paniced, hair dried and stuck the stock cooler back on. So I am gonna buy a decent heatsink and then the next on my list will probably be a new graphics card.... and psu, since my 360w probably aint upto any kind of new card! But to get the crap that was in my tubing out I just used bleach! Looked brand new after that. Or did you mean...... ah! I was using deionised water and some 'antifreeze and summer coolant' that we had in the garage.
worker Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 anti freeze and bleach works good. I don t like water cooling can leak juts like on yours.
