Grill Posted October 22, 2002 Posted October 22, 2002 Well I got a digital sound card. An EDio Live Theater 5.1 PCI. I tried to put it in my computer but was unable to disable the sound that is built into my motherboard. So I installed it in a 400 MHz computer that I put together a few months ago. It had Win XP Pro on it and I couldn't get the sound to work. So I removed it, formatted the harddrive and put Win 98SE on it. It see's the card, digital sound is checked on it but it still only plays analog speakers through the analog plug or port. I know the BA's work as we've plugged them into Gateway computers and they do fine. I'm about ready to just order me a good set of analog speakers and sell these Boston Acoustics.
