Iggy Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Well, after about 5 complete redos of the VDD mod on the AN35N under various configurations I finally decided to give up and just buy an Infinity . I figured it would allow me an excuse to get those new SATA drives I'd been wanting, and hopefully now I'll be able to really test my processors limits with a 250 fsb. I'm pretty depressed that I never got it to work, but at least I was able to get the Vdimm up to 2.95 for a bit. While I was at it I bought the final upgrades for this system in it's 32-bit form today: DFI Infinity NFII 2x 80 Gb SATA Hitachi 7200 RPM 8 Mb 8.5 ms drives (RAID 0) VGA Silencer Rev. 3 for 9800 AIW 8 pack of Iceberq copper ramsinks for 9800 AIW 2x Coolmax 24-inch SATA cables 2x SATA power adapters I guess that's something to be happy about.
