kleptos Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I was just curious if this little app will keep my counts after a reboot? Its probably a silly question, but i wanted to ask. I guess if it can run off a thumbdrive, it does somehow, just curious. I want to run this at home and at work off a thumbdrive. I guess this is just my paranoia, it just counts things, not captures things right?
jammin Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Yes it will keep your counts after a reboot. It should work just fine off a thumb drive as well, several people on here already use it that way I believe.

r_target Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 It'd be a shame to lose these 300,000 keys too.
jammin Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Indeed.. I reckon I should easily be over the million mark by the time they come back online.
kleptos Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 If they didnt come back online, would be cool if they let someone else run the server.
Zeni Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 They'll be back. They're a decent enough bunch, it's not like they don't have other projects to work on right now, so that'd probably be the main focus. ( At least it means they won't just disappear. )
