Mombo Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Ok #1 I need to get a cheap card for my dads computer and when I say cheap I mean no more then 70 and looking for 60's so my ideas are these 3 Ati 9200 ati 9600se geforce fx 5200 #2 My next question is im buying a card for myself he cant have all the fun and im thinking about getting one of the refurb'ed newegg 9800 pro's ( dont have enough for 6800 yet ) ok so my choices are 9800 pro 128 mg and 9800 pro 256 mg how much of a difference will it make and which one will overclock the best. GregP24 Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 For the next gen games coming out, you will want the 256mb 9800. However, if it's an option I would suggest just save your money.
