Byron Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 It helps us a lot also if you put your system specs in your Signiture. The guide there gives a lot of useful information. Just try not to use software to OC, bios is the best way to do it
plissken Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 (edited) Ill put them in my sig in a second, but i might as well just list them here: Pentium 4 2.4 GHz ATI Radeon X800 PRO (overclocked) 1GB DDR RAM ASUS P4B533 Mobo (ancient i know) I just read that guide, and holy . that is complicated. My GPU was easy as hell! Edited August 25, 2004 by plissken
CmpFreak88 Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Is it a 2.4 with Hyper-threading or without? If it's the 2.4C You've got a great overclocker there... if you've got the 2.4B like I've got... well... it's not that great. confuzzedintelguy Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 if it is the 2.4b 533fsb you should be able to git a 700mhz o/c out of it the 2.4b,c are great overclockers the 2.4a is not good at all but you can still git a good 4-500 mhz o/c out of thosedo you have the 2.4a, b, or c ? A= 400FSB B= 533FSB C= 800FSB
