Shaine11 Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Lian li 65 ($105+Fan controll) vs Xaser III V2000A ($172) Ok main thing im worried about is keeping my temps low i dont care about looks or practicalness of the case. with that being said whats the best choice? i was leaning towards the Xaser cause of 7 fans and bigger case so i figure heat distributs better but it seems that every fricken forums i go to everyone wont stop freakin talkin about lian li. Sooo... is it b/c lian li is paying u guys (lol) or is it really a better case (low temp). Hopefully i can get some quick responses cause this is the only thing thats holding me back from ordering all my stuff. Thanks guys. If you !!!KNOW FOR SURE!!! that there is another case out there in this price range that has better airflow capability let me know. Oh and if i do decide to go with a diff case then the Xaser whats a good fan controll with temp meter?
Vampire Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Well a LOT of people here are biased towards thermaltake, so my bet is several people will tell you to get the Lian Li. Personally though I love the xasers, with a little modding you can get GREAT results, plus they do have alright airflow from what I've heard. I use a Coolermaster CoolDrive4 fan controller/HDD cooler, works great and looks cool I'd recommend it. Heres a pic of a modded xaser V2000A, you try tell me it isnt cool
