Pent uP Rage Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 (edited) It only makes you more of a nerd. Nerd I may be, but this game righteously kick AS*! The game supposedly ships on Sept. 14. I've already pre ordered it myself. Dpending on where you preorder you can get a REALLY cool DVD(about 45-1 hour long) or some battle maps. I opted for the DVD from EBGames. I've been waiting for this game for 2 years!!! They're even working on a Total War game for consoles, which will ALSO be killer. Besides, how may first person shooters can one play? I've got 10 shooters realesed over the last year, and they are ALL pretty much the same game just dressed a little differently. DOOM3 or Call of Duty, same game, different graphics/settings/enemies. I'm tired of just shooting stuff. FPS games get BORING after a while. I'm happy to finally get something to replace M:TW which I've played probably 10 times start to finish. Don't get me wrong, DOOM3 is AWESOME, but I liked it when it was called Medal of Honor too. Or Far Cry, or Painkiller, or Call of Duty...etc. I think you get my point. Oh yeah, BTW, the demo kicks A*S. A little short though, but check out the FLASH page. If you're a fan, you'll love it. This game is so awesome. Pay attention to the recreated hieroglyphs on the Egyptian buildings. DEATAILS MAN, DETAILS!!!
