mantonr Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Hey I was checking out the stats on the folding at home site and noticed that one user had 54 processors. How exactly does he do this? I thought that the F@H software would only allow you to have machine id's from 1-8 which would denote that you could have a maximum of like 32 processors if he had like quad processor machines. I'm probably wrong in some aspect of this which is why i don't understand. Cheers for help guys
d3bruts1d Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 You can only have 1-8 (??) instances of F@H on a single system.. however, you can install F@H on as many computers as you want. If I go out and install F@H on to 50 different single CPU systems, it'll report 50 active processors.
