OptikaliLLusion Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Niketown says they're not authorized to be sold on the web, yet I see them everywhere on the web doing a Google of "Nike Air Force 1". Sounds like some overrated shoe material to me.
Overclocker16 Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Niketown says they're not authorized to be sold on the web, yet I see them everywhere on the web doing a Google of "Nike Air Force 1". Sounds like some overrated shoe material to me. Probably because it's one of Nelly's songs called "Air Force Ones" and they are talking about them. OptikaliLLusion Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Sounds like a waste of $$$ to me. If I had to choose between AF1 and Shox TL Running, I'd take the Shox.
DarkScorpion Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 of course you would. Lucky for me, my sister is actually IN the shoe business and knows why they are very popular. One: They are retro. The retro style is currently "in" evern though AF1's arent nearly as popular as they were before. Two: they are cheap, and come in a crap load of differnt colors. So basically, they have a match for everything. And of course, Three: They are comfortable. I have 3 pairs of Shox, a pair of the new retro newbalances and 2 pairs of AF'1, and the Newbalance and the AF1's match alot better with clothes then the shox do....of course, the only people who really care much about matching are in highschool and college, so I wouldnt expect younger kids to really care much, unless they are from some of the more ghetto cities, like houston...... Nerm Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 it's ok DarkScorpion I get a pair of new shoes quite often as well, because I won a lifetime discount with footlocker in a b-ball tourney back when I was in highschool. So I get a new pair of shoes every few months and just throw the old ones away lol.
