djmastermind Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 I am having a rather annoying problem with Windows XP Home Edition. Everytime that I shut down my machine and boot it up, some of the settings revert back to the defaults. Most specifically, sound settings. I normally have mine set to "No Sounds," but the sounds always come back. I also have it set to 5.1 Surround, but somtimes (but not always) defaults back to desktop speakers.
