dling Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 (edited) i nave a Q: 4 anyone that has an nf7-s mobo im not able to get back on line after a format and fresh install of xp pro . in the device manager the IDE ATA/ATAPI host controller is : OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 host controller , and the network adapter is : 1394 net adapter. i have two other nvidia2 base m/b's rigs and there using nvidia drivers. i cant get mine to use nvidia . are these right. edit: i forgot 2 add that im using a dsl modem into a router w/ 3 computers, 2 of them r working. LobbDogg Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Ok so obviously the router/modem is working fine. You are installing the drivers for your network card right? Because to me it sounds like you don't even have your network card installed, only the firewire ports are. hardnrg Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 yeah, in my Device Manager i have: Network Adapters -> NVIDIA NForce MCP Networking Adapter and i had to install the drivers for that separately... (drivers on the mobo cd work) (edit: oh, i have a different mobo, but it's NForce2 so i'm guessing it may be the same deal with the adapter not having drivers installed like LobbDogg said) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
