spectrascope Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 I suggest better wire management in the rear and front (behind the hard drives, etc.) also some fan filters and please! not to flame or anything but stock cooling on that chip you really might want to consider upgradging the cooling there with some as5(http://www.svc.com/arsi5hiplsit.html) thermal compound and maybe this sink http://www.svc.com/hyper6-19.html with this fan http://www.svc.com/8032-delta-80cfm.html
jammin Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Wire management definitely... and maybe spray paint the inside of your case a colour of your choice.
evanin Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 also some fan filters and please! not to flame or anything but stock cooling on that chip you really might want to consider upgradging the cooling Yeah it looks kinda dusty on the left side on the plastic. A better heatsink/fan combo will let your cpu run cooler, and look cooler.

godmode117 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 and get some covers for those empty PCI and AGP slots. Hair dust and cheeto crumbs get in through there.

BloodySunday Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 also some fan filters and please! not to flame or anything but stock cooling on that chip you really might want to consider upgradging the cooling there with some as5(http://www.svc.com/arsi5hiplsit.html) thermal compound and maybe this sink http://www.svc.com/hyper6-19.html with this fan http://www.svc.com/8032-delta-80cfm.html I heard those heatsinks are really bad for motherboards. They put alot of pressure on the board and overall its just not a good idea. And with those temps I wouldn't bother getting a new HSF.
