Sata Freezing On Reboots?

In reference to a problem I've been having... my new Seagate 160gb on my ASUS A7n8x dlx keeps freezing on "Verying DMI Pool Table (or something like that)" during boot.

 

But this ONLY happens when I reboot my computer, not when I turn it all the way off and back on. How can I fix this problem? It's really annoying to have to shut all the way down every time I just need to reboot.
